What to Do While Trains Pass By by last year Academy Preparation Student, Karl Friis Forchhammer, has been nominated for the The Pavel Koutecký Award, organised by Film & Sociology and Archa Theatre in cooperation with the One World International Film Festival. Karl´s film has been nominated in The Short Documentary film section.

A group of five school-aged youths spend their free time in front of a graffiti-covered wall. In the rough area near the train tracks we observe the process of rap being created. The free way the youths speak and off-the-cuff texts accompanied by music emanating from their mobile phones say a great deal about way they perceive the world.

All nominated films will be screened during 3rd and 4th of June in Kino Světozor.

Congratulations Karl and fingers crossed!!
