Three Years of Documentary Film at FAMU International

Three Years of Documentary Film at FAMU International

For the third year in a row, the Jihlava IDFF will present a selection of the most interesting films created during the FAMU International program.

This hour-long screening is a testament to the diversity of approaches, as well as to the full spectrum of major programs at FAMU International, in which students from Sweden, Iceland, Denmark, and India have participated. The films reflect both intimate and family themes, as well as reactions to current social issues. This year’s films deal primarily with prejudices with regards to sexual minorities, reflect the complicated situation of migrants in western countries, as well as examining the difficult position of art institutions when faced with hectic tourist traffic.

Screening will take place on Sunday Nov 1, 2015 from 13:30 at DIOD Cinema
